This question may be a bit of a stretch but; did Styles and Paris ever try to revive their Air Raiders gimmick after WCW closed?
I've seen some results from NWA Wildside where they carried on teaming in March/April 2001 (just after WCW ended) but nothing beyond that.

ok so ive been playing the EWR game for forever now and ive been updating the rosters with new patches etc
But the problem ive got now is within the game itself. You can't update the actuall game to get new matches like the elimination chamber & MITB.
so my question is CAN you get a newer FREE version of this game with newer match types or are there other games out there like this i should take a look at?
Thanks in advance
Total Extreme Wrestling has Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank style angles and storylines.
Edit: Oh yeah, but it's not free

Unless there's a crack out there but i don't know.
yeah i got a demo version of it but it only lasted for a month of play
it's worth a purchase. i prefer the 2005 version to the latest ones though. they got too complicated to navigate around. 2005 is perfect.

Everybody remembers Big Daddy's simple splash finisher but what about that other finisher he did, of which he'd get a knockout victory every time, at least from what I've seen, where he does a falling back body drop splash, has anyone here seen it, does it have a name? It's not even listed in his wikipedia.

Gene Okerlund: Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, the match is at hand.
Jake Roberts: Well, well. The Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase. Here we are at Wrestlemania, and it’s the biggest match of your career. Why? Because everything you stand for is on the line, mainly, the million dollar belt. Oh yeah, you see it can be yours once again. All you have to do is go through Damien, and Me. But you see, Damien and I don’t forget, we remember all the times you made people grovel for your money. These were people far less fortunate than you, people who could use your money for essentials, and what did you do? You made fun of them. You humbled them and you humiliated them. Well, now it’s my turn. I’m going to make you beg, Dibiase, you are going to get down on your hands and knees. This time, you’ll be the one that’s humbled. This time, you’ll be the one that’s humiliated, and this time, you will be the one that grovels for the money. And how appropriate, [laughs] that the money you grovel for is your very own. A victim of your own greed, wallowing in the muck of avarice.

That's a cataloguing error from the original vinyl release which is corrected on some CD editions. The CD I have has a booklet with Hendrix's handwritten notes on the album including his preferred running order and he has it as Chile (15 minute track) and Child (Hogan theme) respectively.

On the same subject, I've just read that WCW paid $100,000 to use Voodoo Child. Did WWF/WWE have pay the same fee to the owners of the track back in 2002 when Hogan used it or did the deal run until a certain period and was picked up by the WWF in 2001 during the sale of WCW. I ask because if they didn't have the deal in place, surely they could have just made do with Real American upon Hogan's return instead of shelling out another 100 grand for a theme they didnt really need to use.

This may be a stupid question but its just something whats popped into my head again lately and Ive always wondered about it.
Back in ECW in 1996 during the Shane Douglad - Pitbulls feud did Pitbull Number 1 Gary Wolfe really suffer a neck injury? I remember reading about the angle in Powerslam and have just recently rewatched it again but Ive never known if it was a total work or just and exageratted injury.

Mar 18 2009, 21:40
Though the footage of the incident doesn't look too bad, I've never heard anyone talk about it really being a work.
Douglas & Wolfe have both talked about it in shoot interviews saying he didn't take the single-arm ddt properly leading to him landing at a bad angle, legitimately breaking his neck.

Yeah thats what I thought when you see the DDT it doesnt seem that bad so I thought it must of been a hidden work like what they did with the Sandman's blindness injury. In a nutshell, Jake had stolen the Million Dollar Belt, which, as it was unsanctioned, gave him as much right to claim the championship as Dibiase. Therefore the title match was set, with DiBiase winning the belt back by count-out - which was acceptable as it was an unsanctioned title.
EDIT: According 411's WM6 report, the feud began the previous May, when Dibiase injured Jake:
So Dibiase put Roberts out of action in May of ’89, and Roberts returned in November looking for revenge. Dibiase told Jake if he wanted the belt to come take it, which Jake took literally. Now the belt is essentially vacant and this match will decide the rightful owner.

The Jake The Snake vs ted Dibase is one of the matches on Legends of Wrestlemania. The game shows you a video package of the angle and the match at Mania and then you have to play the match complete objectives and changing the match outcome. It's quite a fun game, the videos make the nostalgia feel, should be more matches in the relive, recreate, redefine though.

He had a halo screwed into his skull. I'm inclined to think that you wouldn't do that for an angle. Hell, ECW couldn't have
afforded to do that for an angle. The story goes that they deliberately exaggerated the seriousness of it - not that it wasn't plenty serious already - and that he exaggerated the loss of feeling in his arm and so on to help sell the angle.

A strange as it may seem now, back in the day booking was done with a long term goal in mind. After Wrestlemania IV it was said thet Vince new the main event for Wrestlemania V would be Savage vs Hogan, and everything done was to build up to that. These days everything appears to be done on the fly, Vince changes his mind at the drop of a hat, and there appears to be little, if any long term plans.
