Since TNA currently owns the rights to World Wrestling Allstars,
what are the chances of TNA realeasing a dvd on it like WWE did with AWA WCCW and ECW?
Or is this more of an opinion based question than a fact based one?
The DVD run-down would be like this:
-WWA ran a few entertaining tours with Bret Hart advertised on the posters as a wrestler (well a picture of Bret Hart in wrestling gear with the World title).
-Billed Nathan Jones as from the town they were running at the time for a cheap pop.
-‘Signed’ Randy Savage and then he walked out before there first PPV (which had migets, a Hulk Hogan impersonator and A.J. Styles blowing every move he tried)
-Booked Sting and Lex Luger who preceded to work 5 minute main events to rounds of boos to half empty arenas.
-Jeff Jarrett won there belt and they died.
The promotion had no history worth putting on the back of a fag packet, let alone a DVD.

Not even a few worth while matches that could have made up an extras menu or disk?
No, have all their shows on DVD, and its just a horrible...but strangely worthwhile attempt at a company...if that makes sense.
Best left in the past, and the live arena, where even after watching 3 live shows in Ireland, it still baffled me sometimes

Branding no doubt. If you think, we'd be up to about IYH 2349 or something by now. Doesn't look good on the poster.

PPV identity is also a good reason I guess, so much easier to relate to past say, Unforgivens' than saying "and who can remember last years IYH 29 ... etc."

The original In Your House shows were two hours and a reduced price ($15 rather than $30), so the IYH name was part of the branding. After Canadian Stampede they went to three hours for full price, so it made sense to give each show its own identity and make them feel like 'full size' shows just like the rest.

Your maths is atrocious! Three more in 1997, 7 per year from 98-2002, 8 per year from 2003-2008 and generously adding about 15 to keep in line with all those extra shows they added the last couple of years and you'd still have only just about cracked 100 late last/earlier this year.
Also, I seem to remember the video cassettes and promotional posters keeping the In Your House logo (albiet tiny, squashed up in the corner and not really mentioned by the announcers or anyone) through to at least D-Generation-X or possibly as far as No Way Out Of Texas.

Last one to have the 'traditional' IYH logo.

Still kept the IYH name on the boxes from IYH 20, Feb 98.

Still doing it for IYH 26, Dec. 98.

Backlash in April 1999 had the IYH suffix on the posters but not the VHS. I think it was the last time they used it.

A couple of quick questions cause I havn't been paying attention too much lately;
On Raw; In kayfabe terms, are Santino and Beth meant to be a couple? Or are they only a couple in Santino's eyes and she sees him as a pain in the arse?
On Smackdown; Where is Edge? I assumed that he was going to be off tv for a few weeks selling being sent to hell at Summerslam, but he still isnt back yet. So, whats the story with him? Is he injured? When is he due to return?

Roadkill is announced as being from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, which is the home of the Amish community. I imagine that the Amish are the butt of a lot of rural jokes (like Welsh people are in England) given the way that they choose to live their lives.

I have a question regarding a match between Randy Savage and Rick Steiner match I just watched on YouTube from a New Japan show. It's quite funny and I never knew it existed until about 20 minutes ago.
How does the popularity compare between Savage and Rick Steiner in Japan. Rick Steiner gets a ridicious reaction for the pops he was getting at the time in WCW and he goes over.
Here's the match by the way.

Beth/Santino are a "couple". It all started after Beth beat Santino once, and they shared a "passionate" kiss after aguing. It developed fairly quickly in to what you see now. But quite regularly Beth sees him as a pain in the arse as well.
Edge is still selling the injuries from Summerslam, and if the internet reports are anything to go by, he is due back pretty much anytime soon. I'd guess he may have some interfering part at Survivor Series in either the Taker/Show or Kozlov/HHH match

Steiner was one half of the most popular team in Japan since the Road Warriors. It's easy to forget just what a huge deal the Steiners were in early to mid 90s New Japan. They were MASSIVE.

Perhaps (or perhaps not) a tricky question...
Which wrestler has been with WWE the longest without appearing in a Wrestlemania?
It used to be Stevie Richards, but he left so I'm not sure. Kendrick has been with WWE since 2002 (on and off) which would perhaps make him the longest, but obviously that was interrupted.
In terms of longest uninterrupted without a Wrestlemania of the current roster, I'd take a guess at Gene Snitsky, but I may be way off.

About the longest un-Wrestlemania streak question I asked.
Forget the Heat, wwe.com or home video exclusives before WM as that technically isn't Wrestlemania.
Funny how obvious it was Stevie Richards before he got released. I first thought of Funaki, but he was at the WM2000 Hardcore Battle Royal. And then Hurrican Helms, who as far as I'm aware has never had a match at Wrestlemania, but won (then lost) the Hardcore title under the 24/7 rule at X8.
And yes, Lombardi competed as KimChee at the X-Seven Gimmick Battle Royal.
I'm struggling to find anybody other than Snitsky

I know he doesn't count now because he's not an active roster member but thinking about it I'm really struggling to think of a match hes had there.
Does anyone have a link to the full entrance for Glacier in WCW? As in the blue strobes/lasers, snow falling and all that good stuff. I've never actually seen it and am intrigued because of how much it's reported to have cost (close to $500,000!). I only saw him when he'd been given the downgraded attire and entrance and they'd pretty much given up on him. I'm a sucker for an over the top entrance, so I'd love to see it. Apparently he only had the full-on deluxe entrance/outfit combination for three matches, but they were televised as far as I know. Must say that the outfit kind of sucked for something that cost £35,000 though.

Don't know for certain who's top, but Undertaker hit 100 at the last show. I'd imagine he's ahead of both the others you mention given the times they worked and the schedule in those years.
I'd suspect Kane would be surprisingly high.

Yeah, I thought of this the other day.
Kane has been permanently on the roster for 11 years and has never missed any more than a few weeks of TV through injury that entire time.
That kind of stretch has to be some kind of record.
If you include Isaac Yankem in 1996 and Fake Diesel in 1997 - hasn't Glen Jacobs appeared live on screen in some capacity at every Royal Rumble since 1996? Impressive.

I used to have a spreadsheet a few years ago where I kept all sorts of stats. PPV matches, wins, losses, title reigns, lengths of title reigns, etc. Really geeky stuff but I gave it up eventually.
I'd reckon The Undertaker being at the top too. Although HHH must be close.

No, the Smackdown/ECW talent trade has faded away, and only Miz/Morrison from ECW appear occasionally on Smackdown these days.
Only time away from Smackdown since his change, I believe was when he was on the "special 800th edition" of Raw that actually wasn't the 800th, nearly two weeks ago. He teamed with MVP and lost to the Hardys
