5. I've got loads of great holidays coming up. London in a few weeks for UFC and Joe Rogan. Then Germany at the end of June for thr Hurricane festival and then New York & Las Vegas in November for two weeks!

Nikon D80, with an 18-135mm and a 70-300mm VR. And an SB600 to sit on top.

I had no brand preference (and was nearly tempted into getting a Sony a350), but the general concensus was that the Canon kit lenses weren't up to same standard of the Nikon equivalents, and without gridlines in my viewfinder I'd be back to lopsided horizons.
Chances are that if I'd gone for a Canon (probably the 400D) then I would have been equally happy. Except for the wonky horizons.

My Sony PSP and playing Pro evo 08 on it- Yes im a few years late but i got a decent bonus from work and have a holiday coming up so thought it would be a good investment to play on the beach whilst getting my tan on. How bloody addictive is this thing? I havent even downloaded any music or videos or even gone on the internet yet and i still bloody love it! I have Sega Genesis, Fifa 08 and Pro Evo 08 for it and have been so tied up in my Master league with Athletico Madrid on Pro Evo that i havent even removed the packaging for the other 2. Fantastic bit of kit for 120 pounds.

2. The fact I have a holiday coming up in 2 weeks. Spain for a week with the missus in the rents villa. Nice cheap holiday that will see me get away from all the bullshit that is work, Bliss!

3. My new Mobile phone deal. 18 month contract, 900 miniutes, unlimited txts, Free Ipod Touch and Free Nintendo Wii with Wii Sports, all for £35 a month. Sure i could have gone for a better phone (I have an oldish Samsung i think) but really, I only use it to txt nowadays and have an Ipod (now a touch!) so wont make use of the mp3 and camera bollocks. For what Im paying, and what im getting in terms of freebies, Im well chuffed!

4. My work bonus- Has been raped after buying my PSP, some games and clothes, also taking away my debts and QPR season ticket and holiday flights and spending money. Still, i have about 1500 left over and would never have been able to afford all the above and stay in the black so delighted!

5. My clothes spending spree- Hasnt happened yet, but the thought of kitting myself up with new gear when I get home on the internet has me moist like a horny school girl.

I must admit, Canon kit lenses are a bit on the dull side

18-135mm especially for a kit lens is meaty.

As far as wonky horizons go, I use my focal squares to straighten images up (I'm not sure if the 400D has them though..)

Rock Band on the PS2.

Yes I know it's not released here on that console (nor ever will be from what I've seen), but dammit.. if they wont release the pissing thing for me, I'll take it into my own hands and download the bastard!

Intriguing. I know it's a stripped down version and doesn't allow for DLC, but the fact that I have two PS2 guitars is making me want to get the PS2 version rather than buy the whole shebang for my 360, provided I can actually use them with it.

What's the deal with the peripherals in that sense. I presume they plug into a USB hub, so does that mean the kit is cross-compatible with other consoles with USB ports? For instance, if I got the PS2 version, could I buy the drum kit they're selling with the 360 game and stick it in the same hub?
