Now in perfect working order after a 2nd repair job. And if anything goes wrong I now have the number for the 'official' sky repair guys, the bloke who did the repair said yesterday if it goes wrong again they'll replace the whole system (they replaced the LMB and reset the box this time) including all the wiring and the box for free.... I jokingly asked him if I'd get a HD box out of it and he said "You should've asked before we did the repair..." :o

I'm now hoping it'll go wrong again so I can ask him before he starts the repair next time

I've just gotten over some sort of virus. Being ill is shit. I was sweating then too cold then not hungry then ravenous then unable to talk with a sore throat. Oh and not having the energy to do anything is shit too!

I love my video game remixes as much as the next guy, but Megadriver are shittttt.

Megadriver are quality, if you like metal.

I can understand if you're not too keen on the genre, but other than that there's no excuse not to like 'em.

It's probably just because i'm not a big metal fan! I like the other remixes more cos i'm a bit of an electro/synthpop kinda person, so remixes that stick more close the original sound are more my thing

Never been a big fan of Megadriver personally, I'm with AAA on this'un in the sense of preferring other remixes.

Incidentally... currently loving the Kongs In Concert remixes (barring that Candy Kong one, really crappy), and the Final Fantasy 7 album remix too. Some seriously good tunes there.

1. Transmetropolitan. One of the greatest things ever. I love the book, and i've ordered more.

2. THE Brian Kendrick. I know this is a little on topic but really, i'm loving the whole thing that Smackdown is doing with the guy.

3. Buster Keaton. I think i said this a while back, but i'm still astounded by the man. He has such genius.

4. The Big Bang Theory. Their replaying the series now on E4 on Wednesdays which is great. I nearly forgot how brilliant it was.

5. James McGee. Great writer whose book i finally found and have picked right up from where i left off. Enthralling, gripping and very well researched. McGee is a damn fine writer and i would recommend his books (Ratcatcher, Resurrectionist and Rapscallion) to you all.

That be the one, awesome bit of work right there.

I was gonna rant more in the Hate thread but I just couldn't be bothered. At the end of the day, I'm just getting myself more and more wound up by continuing to complain about her and the situation. Turns out that by just ignoring it for a week, it's going away by itself.

1) Getting to see Hamlet in London last night.
2) Managing to get an upgrade from the VERY back row of the theatre to the dress circle in an incredible seat.
3) Being interviewd, and then mis-quoted, by the Evening Standard after the show.

1.Left4Dead's multiplayer. I like playing as the infected and ruining other infected's plans. A boomer was stood on the edge of a roof waiting for the survivors to come out, so I waited until they were leaving the building and slapped him off the roof straight into their gunfire. He called a vote to kick me out and it didn't work. I'm so awesome.

2. Irn Bru. It's fantastic.

3. Xmas holidays soon, college fucks me off and I can't wait to have a break. My hormonal pregnant teacher will be out on leave when we return too so all the nagging will stop.

Kinda. Basically, me and him were in the pub on Friday night and it was the first time I'd really had a chance to talk to him about what was going on. After a few drinks, I was in full on rant mode and he got a few things off of his chest, too. Then someone else mentioned that she'd said something about him at a recent house party and that really pissed him off so he had a bit of a rant about and about other times she'd put two and two together and come up with 17(something she does a lot). One of the girls with us then told our housemate that we were both "slagging her off all night". Sounded a bit like her stirring shit at the time but it seems that's the thing that broke her down.

The funny thing about this, out of all the people who have asked me about moving in, the one that he wants to move in is her ex. Which is cool as he was one of my best mates before they broke up and then I moved in with her and he stopped going out or coming to parties and we sort of drifted apart. This should hopefully be a good chance for us to get back to where we were.

Damn.. you move in small circles man, I can see why you get so much drama!

Considering how small Cardiff is, I'd say I move in pretty big circles! But I know what you mean. The unfortunate thing is that, because Cardiff is so tiny it means that pretty much everyone knows everything and there's just no escape. Still, the drama keeps life fairly interesting, at least.

She's not moving out til the 1st of January (which is a fucking retarded day to move house, but anyway) and she's still blanking me whenever she sees me in the house.

1) Star Trek: Generations is on at 9pm

2) Masters of the Universe is on at 10.30 so I'll V+ that and watch it later or else just watch what's left to go after the above film

3) I'm injury free after 6 weeks of no refereeing due to shin splints and then a mouth infection which led to me getting 2 wisdom teeth out

4) Works xmas night out tomorrow which is being held 5 minutes walk/10 minutes stagger from my house. Should be a great night.
