Everything's coming up Milhouse!

Awesome quote. Shame about the visual. sad.gif

1. I've got Monday and Tuesday off, unintentionally dodging any potential tube strike.

2. Avenged Sevenfold - 'Nightmare'. I've found myself playing it a fair bit in preparation for their gig on Saturday. As far as albums go, it's rather swish.

3. A giant dose of clarity I had last night in regards to current situations.

4. Jerry Lawler's snipes at Vickie Guerrero.

5. Pee-Wee Herman being the guest host on Raw. As unfrequenting as I am with the phrase, I marked out like a bitch.

1. I got feedback from my interview today and the guy was very nice about it. Basically I didn't get the job because I wasn't as confident as the other candidate, however he gave me contact details of the woman who runs temping and apprenticeship schemes for the uni and told me he really thought I would be a very good person to work with. He was very encouraging and seemed very genuine.

2. Just hearing that has made me feel so much better about myself and my job situation.

3. Heard an old Max Miller joke. Goes: 'I went for a walk down a long, windy, and very narrow path. I walked for ages and was turning a corner when a I saw a stunning woman, dressed in a bikini, walking towards me. I didn't know what to do. Whether I should let her squeeze pass me or just toss myself off'.

4. Went up for rugby on Sunday. Very last minute thing (we only arranged it midnight Saturday)It was a crap game but still, nice to see my dad.

5. Delicious meal on Sunday. In Kingston, in the road opposite the station is a Nepalise restaurant called Monty's. It was a nice atmosphere and the food was quality.
WU LYF 4 LYF
1. 'To Buy Or Not To Buy'...some great banter on it this morning between the presenter and the couple. It's replaced Jeremy Kyle as my breakfast TV when I'm up in time.

2. Solange - Messages...I'm obsessed with this song, tracked down a vinyl release from Belgium as it never came out over here. French deep trance song from the late 90's boom that flew under the radar, the spoken word bit is beautiful.

3. In relation to the above, hearing people speak French, it's the most romantic language in the world, always sounds so elegant.

4. Making good progress on learning Spanish, hopefully I'll be good enough quality to consider moving to Barcelona for a while when I finish Uni and trying to make it there, beats London.

5. The trees in autumn, one in my garden is especially lush at the moment, with it's red, orange and yellow leaves.
Monkee
1. Going away for the weekend with lots of friends.
2. Going to the Virgin Racing HQ on Sunday to watch the Brazilian GP.
3. Starting my Christmas shopping early.
4. Picking up two limited edition prints from an art gallery.
5. The CEO of Virgin Racing being in on a surprise I've organised for the team.
seph
1. Having some Miss Millie's fried chicken tonight for the first time in ages. Yummeh.
2. San Francisco Giants win the World Series without Barry B*nds, and Cali votes on (partial) legalisation in a few days. Mr. Lincecum may have just swung the vote.
3. City took 6 points from August until the 3rd week of October. We took 7pts from the last fortnight and pissed on a homecoming, and another win on Saturday will get us out of the dropzone.
4. Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. Well worth the £8 so far.
5. I haven't seen a Botchamania for some time, and from #133 onwards they're using a parody of the WWE's intro idents to open them, with lots of BM hallmarks ("FACK!" and the like). It's a very nice touch.

EDIT: taken the old #5 out as I hate MW2's guts right now.
KJHenley
1. Getting a £200 tax rebate.
2. Fixing my laptop after a month of trying.
3. Which means I wont have to spend the rebate on a new laptop like I thought I would.
4. Having £200 pounds extra for the 'Girlfriend's 21st Birthday' holiday fund which may mean I can upgrade from Europe to New York.
5. Visiting home this weekend and having an all day pub crawl for a friends birthday. These things are always epic.
NEWM
1. Getting married on Saturday, and I can't bastard wait. I like her, she really will do for the long haul.

2. Looking forward to seeing a lot of people we don't get to see all that often as a a result of 1., so that's just something else cool about the day.

3. Honeymoon in Florida for two weeks, what's not to love about that?

4. As a really odd little bonus, approximately 7 hours after we land, WWE Raw is being held 15 minutes away from the hotel. She doesn't like wrestling, but she wouldn't deny me the opportunity considering the luck of it occuring, so we're going to a real life American episode of Monday Night Raw, that should be a fun start to the fortnight.

5. Despite some hellish long work days lately, the big day's imminent arrival has left me feeling so positive about everything that I've managed to just keep my head down and crack on.

6. The bonus Sixth only gets used when really worth it - I still can't quite let our absolute cuffing of Chelsea at the weekend sink in, in my last Sunderland gameas a single man too. Fucking magic.

Life is really great actually. What a smug post this has become.
Frankie Crisp
What a great post to read.

Enjoy your big day NEWM; I hope it's one you'll treasure and never forget. Oh and enjoy the wedding a couple of days before, too.

Seriously though, hope all goes well for you both thumbs-up.gif
Mr. Seven
Ditto. Hope everything goes well man.

1 - Inflatable chair half price in Tesco. Mmmm, comfy, and deflates to take up a miniscule amount of space in my already overcrowded room.

2 - New room layout. It's taken nearly two weeks to sort it all out, and the purchasing of additional shelves and stuff, but holy crap, I have floor space again, and it's not a fucking tip that I'm embarressed for anybody to see.

3 - New CEX exchange shop thingy in town has opened, and has many WWF (with an F!) DVDs. WrestleMania IX and X have been enjoyed (with notable unexpected greatness coming from Luger), and No Mercy 2001 to follow.

4 - Have done some minor eBaying lately, and have managed to pick up some absolute bargains. I'd have more, but fuckers keep on outbidding me. Maybe I shouldn't expect everything for my opening bid of 99p.

5 - I have female company for the weekend, and I'm spoiling her rotten. To make it even better, I'm keeping everything a surprise for her. I'm going to be an absolute zombie come Monday, but meh.

1) Being single, I'm sure i will moan about this soon enough but having just come out of an awful relationship, thank the lord for my current singledom

2) CHRISTMAS! Granted people seem to be ushering Christmas in earlier and earlier every year, but i really do love Christmas, its my favorite time of year. I an taking my niece to go and see Santa at the local garden centre tonight, not only will Santa be there but they will have actual live reindeer, this excites me, a lot. My niece is 2 years old and i am 27, of the two of us, i am the more excited! I'm off to Leeds on Wednesday to go and visit the German market, which always helps me get in to the festivities and Christmas means a return of starbucks Christmas drinks, all in all the ushering in of Christmas is going well!

3) My new phone, granted its not that exciting but i love it, I've never had a smart phone before as i was a little reluctant to embrace that type of technology but now i have, i feel there is no turning back, ever.

4) My sister in law is pregnant, baby won't be with us till March but the baby bump is well and truly with us so its all become 'real' now so its incredibly exciting, i can't wait to have a new niece or nephew!

5) The government have but our budgets where i work, i'm defiantly not loving this but they have recently offered out voluntary redundancy to all the staff and the up take was much higher than expected, while this is not great and a tad selfish of me but it means my chances of being made redundant have significantly reduced, and i LOVE my job so i cm pleased about this. The people who i have spoken to who have taken voluntary redundancy said that they felt it was now time to leave the job, most said they where suffering from compassion fatigue so this makes me feel a little better about them leaving
brownie
1. I went to Wembley last night and whilst England were poor, just being at an England game was magic.

2. 28 days until my 5 week holiday to New Zealand.

3. That excited feeling you get when you know, you just know, that you've bought someone a sensationally phenomenal present and you want them to open it, just so you can bask in their reaction. I've got it in a big way with regards to my sisters christmas present.

4. I've just eaten a whole Terrys Dark Chocolate Orange. Yes I have.

5. The Coca Cola advert (tis the season, it's always the real thing....holidays are coming....) has been on my TV, it's getting very cold and my younger sisters are going mental.....yes, it's christmas season. I didn't care much for christmas in the past, but as i've matured over the last couple of years and started to live vicariously through my younger sisters, the excitement really gets to me. I have a niece and nephew now as well, and I get a joy through buying the 4 of them gifts that I can't quite label. The fact that I see my mum, sisters, niece, nephew, brother in law and stepdad once every 3 months or so adds to it...I can't wait to see mum and give her a present. Scarcity really does create value and now when I get to see them and share in excitement, it means so much to me.

I fucking love Christmas.

Oh, and very big congratulations to one of UKFFs finest, NEWM on his big day. I hope it's magic for you and your soon to be wife.
Dead Mike
My new job. After taking redundancy I was worried that I'd panicked & taken the first thing offered to me. Everyone's super nice, the job itself is more interesting & on top of that I've just been told they're putting me on a 12 month progression plan, they're going to give me some milestones to achieve & when these have been reached daddy gets promoted.

Going to see Gaslight Anthem on Saturday. Saw them earlier in the year & it's probably the best performance of 2010. Anticipation is high, plus it's at the Apollo, my favourite venue in Manchester. Plus we're staying over so we can hit the Northern Qtr for cocktails post-gig.

I've had a late run of ticket sales for the Jim Jefferies show I'm running tonight. Nearly a full house..Jim was great last time he gigged for me & I expect more of the same tonight.

The Walking Dead - I've wanted a new show to get into since finishing The Shield & The Wire. So far this is pretty bad ass.

UFC this weekend. I'll get back from Manchester on Sunday & nurse my hangover by eating sweets, drinking milkshakes, smoking green & watching the UFC…..top weekend.
El Nicko Loco
1. Got myself tickets to both of Norwich's next games, Leeds United and Ipswich Town back to back at Carrow Road. Loving the anticipation. Depending on the results obviously, it could either be the greatest or worst footballing week I've had in like, forever.

2. The UKFF! There's been lots of good material recently and that's come in pretty handy for killing time at uni in between tedious video rendering and having seemingly mountains of paperwork to fill in. I've been posting on the forum a lot more as a result. I've always read the boards somewhat religiously since I joined way back in 2004, but only really seem to post in spells. Not for any particular reason, just sometimes I don't tend to have the urge to post as much as others. Also, I'd say my quality of posting in general is much better than when I joined. I vaguely recall some of the tripe I posted in my earlier forum days and it's nice to know I can now string point or two together. Have been browsing back through some of the gold threads lately. The barrycollins thread in particular never gets old.

3. December the 16th, my birthday, is on the horizon. And just after that...

4...It's Xmas baby. Last Xmas was a bit of a gay one for me, having been unceremoniously ditched by my girlfriend at the time and feeling mostly down in the dumps over that particular festive period. So this year, I'm looking forward to what will hopefully be a lot less stressful Xmas period where I wont have that shadow hanging over me.

5. Planning for an eventual move to America. Crazy I know, as I already live in the fine city of Norwich and I must be crazy to even entertain the possibility of moving. Alas, I'm excited by the prospect of going over there to do a paid masters degree on a film course with a view to joining a production company immediately after that. Bit of a pipe dream at the moment and I'm still researching it, but the very prospect of it fills me with excitement. And hopefully the rumours are true; that American lasses love a bit of the British cock.
CuckedByMenry
1. I've been told by my mum what to get my nephew for Christmas - WWE toys. I can't fail.

2. Saw Deftones and Coheed & Cambria last night. Pretty damn good, even if there were far too many people not looking where they were going. Coheed's frontman > everyone else.

3. Had today off. It's been nice.

4. Went out for a few hours this morning and came up with a fine brain-teaser/dame-pleaser:

If I leave the house at 9.50, get to the bank at 10.20, leave after 2 minutes and spend an hour shopping, wait 10 minutes for the train, arrive at Matalan 8 minutes later, spend 20 minutes in there then take 10 minutes to get home, how long were my flies undone?

5. I saw a photo of a man's eyes with "2010's 'Sexiest Man Alive' revealed" written underneath. I could tell instantly the man was Ryan Reynolds. While I loved this, I realised that Abi Titmuss could walk past me and I'd have zero idea who she was. The two slags from X Factor could ask me for directions and I wouldn't twig (if I did, I'd send them the wrong way). But recognising a man by a mere part of his face? Then again, I'd would probably fight women to touch him, and maybe not in a straight way. confused.gif

1. Just got out from spending 12 hours in lockdown, after the police cunts did me for possession of a controlled substance. At least I avoided charges.

2. The CUNT in the next cell screaming his head off all night and kicking the wall repeatedly.

3. Everyone just assumed I'd gone home from the night out because I was too fucked; so there wasn't even anyone to watch as I was gloriously hauled off in handcuffs.

4. Had to walk through town to get my motor looking like absolute shit.

5. Having a crazy week ahead, this wasn't the start I was hoping for.

1. Just had a sunday roast followed by going back to a friend's house. Weird thing is that the friends were my ex from a few years ago and her hubby, along with another mate, and the girl I broke up with six months ago who I've not been getting along with AT ALL. Was amazing to have a nice afternoon with that group, and really feel like everything's cool now and the air is clear... Just spent three hours drinking beer and watching kids shows and hanging out with the little ones. Very very happy. Was out last night for a friend's birthday and spent most of it chatting to the ex, really seems we can get on now and not make all our mates uncomfortable.

2. Therapy? were excellent friday night, had an absolute blast, still buzzing off it.

3. The Agitators are over from Belgium to play in a little pub in town tonight, so that'll be fun.

4. Two more days of work then a week off to go up to Manchester for a few days. See an old friend, go to a gig he's running, scour second hand record shops and generally chill out away from Canterbury for a bit. Need to get away. But most importantly:

5. The main reason I'm going is to see a young lady. Mate of mine down here is seeing a Manchester lass who's moved down here to live with him and her best mate has visited a couple of times and we got on really well, so I'm going up to stay at hers. Judging by the uninterrupted stream of text message filth I've been getting from her, I think I'll be lucky to survive the weekend. Quite looking forward to a spot of sex tourism.

Please don't tell me I've missed another Therapy? tour. Was it a part of a tour? Please be aware that I will have to go away to puke blood if there is a tour I've just missed.

Sorry to break it to you mate, but not only was it a tour, it was Troublegum in its entirety. Fucking awesome.

1. My relationship is going so well at the moment it's great we'll have been together 3 months on the 3rd of December and it's been simply amazing.

2. Christmas time- My fave time of the year, this year is going to be even more special as it's my Girlfriend and I's first Christmas together.

3. My new job, it's only Christmas Temp work but it's at Gamestation a place i've been trying to get work for a while now and it's great to say I work there.

4. Kid Rock's new album is brilliant I thought his last one 'Rock and Roll Jesus' was a great album but his new one is on the same level of greatness!

5. Caffe Nero has brought back it's festive Amaretto Latte's and they're great! thumbs-up.gif

1) My fiance

2) Having my own flat and not having to live with my parents any more

3) Lynx Excite deodorant - even though it's supposed to be for men

4) The night out I'm going to on Friday

5) ICW
Scott Malbranque
1) Alexis Texas

2) Miriam (from There's Something About...)

3) David Fincher movies

4) Tim Cahill & Andy Carroll

5) Forrest Griffins book
El Nicko Loco
1) I've got the Old Farm derby off work! Delighted is an understatement.

2) This is also a relief because it means more time to do last minute tidying up with my Uni deadline for the following day.

3) Stumbled across a YouTube channel which features all of the entire 1-7 series episodes of Thomas the tank engine! Heck yes. The books were shitloads better and they seem to get dafter the further up in series you go, but fond childhood memories of the earlier ep's nonetheless and some alright newer ones.

4) *Big* Raw spoiler.

5) A couple of friends of mine owed me some money for various things (nothing seedy or interesting, sadly. 'twas just for the odd football ticket and a bill or two), and they've graciously returned what they borrowed in addition to buying me a pint. Good times.

Fantastic! I have fond memories of Ringo Starr telling me all about Henry not wanting to work in the rain and then being bricked into a tunnel as punishment.

1. Stacked social calendar. Moderat at WHP, Meat Katie and Krafty Kuts at Sound Control, possibly Jedi Mind Tricks at Satans If I can blag my way onto the guest list, works christmas do, Cinema outings, parties, mates who work abroad coming back home... it's all kicking off!

2. Mary Jane. Moved house and subsequently moved work a month ago, the upside being I've met some totally wicked new people on my wavelength. A couple of them share my particular penchant for party perscriptions and as a result I've been toking on the good stuff for the first time in months. Walked home baked after a nice cosy sesh and was seeing everything in cinematography, shadows, lighting and shading... inner city Manchester never looked so good!

3. Walking home whilst listening to Arcade Fire's Suburbs album. Absolutely fantastic album from a band I'd previously not given a toss about. Some really nice rambling, synthy, shoegazey indie. If you've grown up in the suburbs or the countryside then this track will evoke memories of riding your bike on one of those lazy summer days: Arcade Fire: Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)

4. Being single giving me carte blanche to walk around feeling like the man.

5. All the good looking girls out there.
OI OI SAVELOY
1. My mate has recently converted his garage into a mini gym. He has a bench press, excercise bike, treadmill and various weights which we've been using as of late instead of going to the gym.

2. Having better workouts for a longer period of time as a result of the above. It's amazing how much more we are getting done when we dont have to wait for certain machines, and with no additional people around, we can actually use the weights without looking like weaklings and go at our own pace.

3. Absolutely pimped myself out with healthy food for work at lunchtime today. Spent in excess of £30 buying wholemeal pitta, tuna, grilled chicken, fruit, mixed nuts/ seeds and stuff of that nature, which not only means I have no reason to venture out into the cold for lunch for the next 2 weeks, but also mean's i'll be eating healthily to accompany my new found love of the gym.

4. First day back at work after a 4 day weekend (had to use up some holiday) and I feel refreshed, awake and generally a lot happier. This hasn't gone unnoticed by my work colleagues either.

5. QPR Vs Cardiff on Saturday. The first game in ages that really has a Big match feel to it for QPR. It's at the right end of the table for a change, and I would be absolutely over the moon if we we're able to win, leaving us 5 points clear of Cardiff at the top of the table!
CAREBEAR LUVVA
1) Quitting my job two weeks ago because I simply couldn't bear it any more. I immediately felt about a thousand times happier with the world in general, and I had loads of fun on my last night because I knew I wasn't going back so it didn't matter if I misbehaved a little bit. It was a stupid/brave/risky move knowing how many people are having trouble finding work at the moment, but...

2) I went for an interview last Friday and about half an hour after I got home they rang to say I'd got it. They were putting together a formal offer of employment which should arrive through the post in the next couple of days, then I get to go on a load of training courses (they're paying) and start after that. Being offered a job when you totally don't expect to get it is a lovely feeling.

3) They're slowly releasing every series of T-Bag on DVD. I fucking love T-Bag.

4) Electric blankets. I always thought it was something only your nan would bother with, and probably not even since the 80s, but I bought one the other day and it makes the bed so bloody comfy. With a new big thick winter duvet on top it's like sleeping in a big warm fluffy cloud.

5) £3.50 carvery dinners. Amazing.
Bowyo T
1) my job!

Even on a bad day its 1 million % better than a job i have about 2/3 years ago, and even better than my last job in sales! (It wasnt the sales, more the places that was completely dire).

2) My daughter!

She is getting bigger these days, 5 months old and very smiley! Always gives me a big smile/cuddle when i get home from work!

3) Christmas

Not anything to do with me getting anything, but i like doing the round to my family (various divorces in the family so its very spread out), but i love getting out to some relatives i havent seen in a little while, and dropping in a card/pressie.

4)Spending christmas day at home for the first time in about 4 years! ALthough i do get about during the crimbo holidays to drop of presesnts, for the past 4+ years me and the misses have been spending christmas with others , (her nan/mum, my mum or dad etc), bar that this year we're staying in with our little girl for her first christmas and our first family christmas!

5) having £100 on the gas! Sounds very stupid, but aparently we've put bombs loads on the gas metre over the past year, so when i run out of money until next payday, our house is still goign to be very warm!

1 - Saw a-ha at Trent FM Arena on Sunday. Apart from just generally enjoying the tunes, the videoscreen work was easily the best I've seen, mixing a live feed (often from 3/4 different cameras) in with graphics and prerecorded/stock footage.

2 - The above concert being a complete surprise for my (possible) girlfriend (haven't actually had a conversation to confirm this yet), which was awesome as her "old photo's" folder on Facebook shows that her bedroom was once a shrine to a-ha. Brownie points for me.

3 - Job interviews going reasonably well at the moment. Not good enough to actually secure me a job, but I'm making second interviews and being kept on file afterwards with some. I'm being optimistic.

4 - My nephew no longer screams when I'm holding him. Yesterday I managed to get smiles and laughter, and today he actually fell asleep on me.

5 - I have an inflatable chair, and a memory foam pillow. Little things, but big on comfort.

1. Thanks to people dropping out I'm now going to see Wales vs. New Zealand tomorrow. Might be snowed out and the others are going in a limo and I'm on a train but still.

2. Had an interview recently, went pretty well. I've got more confidence after the Solent Uni interview and I think it came through.

3. After a month of searching found a shop nearby selling what I was looking for for my mums xmas present.

4. My baby brother loves his toy drum I bought him for his birthday. Apparently, he's figured out the sequence to make it play a tune and has his own little dance.

5. Last week, I decided to watch Nathan Barley on 4OD (it's free) and it was very... strange. But the build up and Julian Barratt's portrayal was simply great and I ended up really liking it.

3. Somehow, I qualify to do a BSc Hons degree in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying. The fact that my company are paying the fees upfront in a lump sum has nothing to do with it. No sir.

4. I bought a second hand laptop from CEX yesterday for £85. It's an IBM something or other and it's rather good. The internet browsing history made me laugh - nothing but porn.

5. Mrs Brownie is not pregnant!!! A major scare due to a faulty contraceptive product had me feeling very scared. I hate children (except my sisters and niece and nephew). They cry. They cost money and essentially they ruin your life. I am so thrilled that i'm not going to be a parent.

1) Gingerbread Lattes at Starbucks. (Even though I am upset that the Black Cherry Mocha didn't make a comeback this year). They're costing me a fortune, but it's pretty much the only time of year that I regularly drink hot coffee so I'll allow myself to enjoy it!

2) Season 3 of Sons of Anarchy. Brilliant stuff, so glad to see it back. Watched 7-8 episodes in the last couple days.

3) Everything hasn't completely shut down because of the snow this time. This is a welcome surprise.

4) Having some new music on rotation. I hadn't checked anything new for a while and I've just had an influx.. It always makes journeys so much better when there's some good new albums on my phone (although for the most part I'm just looping that new Kanye album even though I have some other good new ones as well, because it's that damn good.)

5) Back in at #1 in my fantasy football league thanks to Captain Nani, and the fact that almost everyone had already given up waiting for Berbatov to do something good and got rid of him (I got rid of him a few weeks back myself)
NEWM
So holy fuck, I got married, had a mint honeymoon, and still have a couple of days before I have to go back to work, so here's a big bucketload of postivity in another shamelessly self-indulgent effort.

1 - Getting married felt fucking ace. It was nervewracking initially, but I never thought I'd be so buzzed doing all the "I Do" stuff. Just exhilirating.

2 - All the speeches were great, including the best man's and my own. I was nervous about having to be a bit cheesy and lovey dovey but I got the balance just about right I think, and my best man owned me without making the old relatives blush. Really good fun. Belting evening do, including a few great requests for me and some mates to spice up the disco between the obligitory dancing with mother-in-laws/kids. All really good fun though.

3 - My wife looked the dogs nob in her dress, absolutely stunning. And as for me, spats and a tux, you can't feel anything but shit hot in spats and a tux.

4 - Honeymoon was just incredible. America was everything I expected and 50 times more, both Walt Disney World and Universal Studios were completely amazing, Busch Gardens was great, Orlando itself was sensational, I saw the fucking Miz win the WWE Title and one of the all-time great Cena promos, played on some of the most amazing crazy golf courses ever, bought a shitload of cheap stuff in the thanksgiving sales, drank and ate myself to death with american sweets and all the flavours of Mountain Dew, and managed to fit in some cracking trans-atlantic rutting during the days and nights off. I watched two Sunderland games at a couple of bars as well as last week's Raw and this weeks Community and The Office on US TV just for the novelty of it. And I'm missing US Hospitality already, suddenly everybody here seems so fucking moody.

5. Looking forward to recovering today from jetlag then going through the various cards, pictures and guestbook shit from the wedding. It really was one of the best days of my entire life, so I can't wait to go through it all in other forms. Never thought I'd be such a gaylord over it all.

Aww congratulations! Nice to hear a couple so happy! I am very envious of your trip to America, i really really want to go to the states again but i don't think it will be possible for at least a year... Though a trip to Canada could happen so i will console myself with that for now!

1) Generally feeling crappy and having a bad week up until about an hour ago, but through a varied confluence of a few little things I'm feeling a lot more positive right now. The little things are great....

2) Project Board Meeting cancelled! Woo! PB for next Tuesday is cancelled, which is great because we really don't have anything for them to see, and I was stressing about rushing papers out and then feeling embarassed to have them all in a room but not really have anything to discuss. (now I just have the embarassment of sending out a note to say it's cancelled after having hassled people this morning about attending)

3) Restarting reading all the Walking Dead books from the beginning. Brilliant! And they've significantly changed everything so I'm not giving myself spoilers by reading it (in the show, I mean)

4) Pete Rock & CL Smooth on Sunday - bring it on! Classic hip hop jams; well looking forward to it.

5) Still fuckin loving that new Kanye album...

I was given these yesterday by a friend, looking forward to reading them. I think he gave me about 65 issues, is there many more than that out there?

Enjoy, dude! There's 79 in total at the minute, but I've only read up to 66 so far myself. I've got the new ones waiting for me when I finish my re-read though!
NEWM
1. On a night out tonight with a group of us who all met at Northern Rock years ago before the roof fell in. Bar one of them, we all moved on elsewhere but still make a point to catch up every few months, this being our annual festive knees up, and routinely the best Christmas night out I have. Looking forward to it.

2. Just over a month after our fucking our arses 5-1, Newcastle are again being laughed at and derided by the footballing populous. I don't think Pardew will be half as bad as some do, but at the same time, it's great that they can't make the greatest of grace periods even last till the end of the year. Such a terrific club to have as your rivals, especially with Sir Ashely of Awesome at the helm.

3. WWE Raw - buzzed from my attendance at the live show whilst away in Florida, I caught up with the following two episodes on Sky+ last night, and what a superb run they're on. I've loved all the Miz stuff, the Cole stuff, and I'm just a total sucker for the ridiculous Cena storyline so that gets a pass too. Plus the inclusion of a clumisly brilliant CM Punk on commentary is a staggering breath of fresh air.

4. Looking forward to relaxing with friends and family this weekend with some good food, good times and the X Factor final. I'm noticing more and more how little it takes to get fully wound down on a weekend, and the prospect of that tomorrow will work a fucking treat.

5. Though only just, it's now officially Friday afternoon. Rye smiles abound every week for that little cheeky.

1. Discogs - absolutely magnificent site, just invested in 11 vinyl for my collection, need room to store all this shit I keep buying though. Got some amazing records, especially can't wait to spin 'Messages' and 'Orange Sunshine' unmixed on a awesome system.

2. Vinyl - I can't get enough of it, I love the way it feels, love the way it sounds, I even love the imperfections. I love buying obscure things I've never heard and the excitement of playing them for the first time, on the off chance you might discover a classic. The full list I just bought for the 0 people that are interested...

3. Life - isn't it class? Had a few moments in the last few days where I've just been walking down the street and got a massive grin on my face.

4. Travel plans; nothing like the anticipation of deciding where you're going, and the build up. Been looking into South America for a few months and it looks fucking class.

5. Relentless Inferno; is this the greatest drink ever invented?

1. The Bundesliga - What an awesome league. Full stadiums, cracking matches week after week. Teams who celebrate each win as though they've won the cup. Great players, great goalkeepers. It's got the lot.

2. IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Very happy with the pressies I've bought. Tree looks great. Only have to work 4 days out of 15 after this week. I can't wait.

3. My little girl - She's just awesome. I love listening to her read, that might be my favourite thing in the world. I love how each morning she casually drops something different into the conversation that is a hint to when she can have her advent chocolate. I love how every sentance starts with "Actually" for some reason. I love that she said to me on Saturday "I don't think you appreciate what I'm trying to say". I love that she comes running into our bedroom this morning with an emergency, just managing to gasp the words "bookcase". I go running through with her to discover that the "emergency" was that the book she wanted was too high to reach. I didn't love that she asked me if I was older than Florence Nightingale.

4. Wheeler Dealers - Best thing on Sky at the moment. Awesome show!

5. Being skint - Means we're spending more time in together, just the 3 of us. Cooking, baking, playing lego, watching DVD's. I love it.

6. My brother's coming home for Xmas this weekend. Don't get to see much of him. We should fit in a good piss up and we're off to Sheff United vs. The mighty Hull City on boxing day. Mint.
