Unfortunately I haven't a clue on that dealio. All I know is the bog-standard Guitar Hero guitars work fine with it (by Bog Standard I mean the wired ones, the wireless one for number 3 wont work from what I've been told, I have it, but haven't tried it as the thing is crap anyway).
If I ever find out that the drums will work that way... it's a damned site cheaper than buying 'em from America.
I think a mate (otherwise known as the manager of Gamestation up here) is coming round soon with the entire shebang for the 360, so I'll have a word and test sticking it in my PS2 if he's up for trying it out and let ye know.

In actual reality not a lot besides Crisps
Justin Broadrick.
I've been listening to his remix of Pyramid's "The Echo Of Something Lovely" on a continuous loop for about an hour now and it never ceases to amaze me how he can create these gorgeous compositions. Why people waste time with cookie cutter bands and talentless junkies who release the same album forever instead of listening to a guy who is, quite literally, overflowing with talent and creativity I'll never understand.

I didn't know where to put this and didn't want to make a new thread just for it so figured i would put it in here. Partly because it is what i am loving right now anyway.
Roger Federer vs Rafa Nadal in the final at Roland Garros on Sunday. Its going to be the best final ever, even topping their Wimbledon final last year. Federer has added a few little wrinkles to his game (the forehand drop shot and the aggressive slice shot) which if he uses correctly can really trouble Rafa. Plus Federer has had Rafa where he wants him in the last few meetings but couldn't finish it off, if he keeps it together and learns from his mistakes then it could be his year. Plus if Roger wins he will get the one slam which has eluded him and finally be seen as the greatest player ever to play the game. (even though he is already, but it will pretty much be official after the win)
If you love sports, you have to watch this match. The greatest player of all time vs the greatest player ever on the red earth. This is what i am loving right now.
Todays the motherfecking day...its been a long time(1999), but todays the day i start the fine little run of seeing Kid Rock 3 times in a few weeks...and i get to see Kiss, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Whitesnake and so many more along the way...again...GOOD TiMES!!!

Intriguing. I know it's a stripped down version and doesn't allow for DLC, but the fact that I have two PS2 guitars is making me want to get the PS2 version rather than buy the whole shebang for my 360, provided I can actually use them with it.
What's the deal with the peripherals in that sense. I presume they plug into a USB hub, so does that mean the kit is cross-compatible with other consoles with USB ports? For instance, if I got the PS2 version, could I buy the drum kit they're selling with the 360 game and stick it in the same hub?
JLM, I have us an answer...
The 360 drums will not work with the PS2 at all

.
We had a huge Rock Band night here (which finished about an hour ago), t'was totally awesome to play (but the drums are majorly difficult), the guitars themselves are uncomfortable as hell tho', stick with the Guitar Hero ones if possible, and we plugged the drums into my PS2 afterwards, and no love from that.
But the game is amazing with a group of mates. tho' it makes even playing the guitar tough, as where you'd normally be able to keep in time with the music, if everyone else is botching it up nicely, there's no music to keep in time with ('cept from the drums that seem to sound whenever ya hit 'em, which is good, although troublesome if the guy playing 'em can't keep a beat, lol).
So yeah, definitely been loving that tonight.

The PC in my bedroom was kicking out some serious heat and seeing as I can't be bothered to go to work tonight I decided to relocate to the garden. So here I am at almost midnight on a sunday, with a frosty beer on my left side, some delicious snacks on my right and the warm glow of the laptop. Might as well enjoy it now, 'cos it'll probably be raining tomorrow. It sure is great living in the future.

I'm loving Heroes Volume 2 at the moment. After continuously hearing how bad it was, the quality of it has really surprised me. I just watched the Episode 7 repeat on BBC2, and the twist that Adam Monroe and Takezi Kensei are the same person is brilliant. I hope the rest of the season is as strong.

Probably the greatest thing to ever happen to me and the thing i am loving right now more than anything i have ever loved in my life. (i can't express how excited and how much i am loving this right now). Thursday i am going to the Queens club for the day and apparently a coach from the LTA who i know says i will get to meet all the players including Rafa, Djokovic and my favourite player Marat Safin! I have met a few famous people before but sports men (especially tennis players) who i have so much respect for will turn me into a 10 year old girl. I don't know how i will control myself, just the thought i will get to hit with any of them is making me so giddy (even though i know its never going to happen). Also I'm not gay or anything but if Safin wants a blow job, I'm getting down on my knees!
