This is a no-brainer. Hogan's face turn moment at Bound For Glory was like wrestling used to be - an awesome moment, the timing perfect, the crowd right in the palm of his hand, and the largest pop in either organisation for a long, long time.

It says a lot that Hogan getting his tits out is doing so well, considering I thought it was only me, Loki and Butch who actually saw it on here. The forum was going spastic over the Money In the Bank period and one of those is always going to win it, so its nice to see a good TNA moment doing well.

Punk's worked shoot promo didn't make the cut? Really? I swear loads voted for it.

Yeah, I was just thinking that. There were a handful of votes on the first page alone. Granted, I can't be arsed to go through and count the total number of mentions up but surely the Awesome Truth HIAC arrest never got more nominations than that?

EDIT: Turns out I could be arsed because I'm bored. The Punk promo got 20 shouts which was probably one of the most nominated. The Awesome Truth thing got 5 noms. Shenanigans, Chest, SHENANIGANS.

Nah, I made the executive decision to be a fucking idiot, and do this at 2am stoned, on a work night, and miss the top two nominated moments off the poll.

All this despite the fact that Ronnie even counted the nominations for this award for me and all I had to do was make a thread.

I am a twart.

They were - CM Punk promo and Punk wins the title at MITB.

The bottom two shouldn't be there at all.

On the plus side though, CM Punk is still winning for his other nominations... so it kinda works out?

Sorry.

All piss-taking aside, I thought the exact same thing when Diesel's music hit at the Rumble. I'm amazed it's doing so poorly. And when he took that little cunt Mysterio's face off, jesus christ. I would have left the wife for him that night.

I went for Diesel returning, too. For those five minutes or so I was a (really drunk) child again! It might be my favourite moment ever, let alone just this year.

WWE not doing anything with him for the next half-year's my biggest anti-climax.

I understand that focussing on Nash in the middle of their "youth movement" seems like a bad idea, but if he's more entertaining and a bigger draw than 95% of your roster, why not?

That's debatable. I still haven't seen the PPV match with Triple H so I'm only judging him on anything prior to that. His Rumble return was good and the backstage assault on Trips was really good too. I thought all his other segments on Raw were really poor. About a tenth of the level he's capable of. Certainly not anything to make him worth bothering with to the current audience. He got plenty of leeway on here, and perhaps deservedly so given how great he's been, but if you look at it objectively, I think you can see why they aren't desperate to use him a whole lot.

It's hard to tell with Kev. He hasn't had a chance to show how good he is for a couple of years now. People were calling him too old and slow back in 2007 or so, but once he got back into ring shape he was one of the most valuable guys TNA had, he was having good matches pretty much every time out in 2008 and cutting world class promos every time he grabbed the mic. He was brilliant in his mentor role with Samoa Joe, to boot. After that he never really got a chance to have a run of decent matches/opponents, the Foley feud was good (and the match was a minor miracle, given Foley's form in TNA) but after that it was all shite. "Here Kev. How about you get involved with Steven Richards, Daffney and Abyss!"

He's at least in as good shape now as he was then. The ladder match with HHH was brilliant. Nash is a big game player. A Cena feud would be money!

I'd probably be in the same boat as you, if the world and their wife hadn't already revealed that Nash & Booker were going to be entrants into the Rumble that night :sneaky: It was still a good moment, but for me nowhere as good if it would've been a complete surprise.
