This could be pretty cool, say if they have it so that instead of Promos, we have sit-down interviews with a few segments about the backgrounds of the wrestlers. Like segments where Zack Ryder would be going round New Jersey or Croft & Barretta playing video games or what not. It'd make their gimmicks more clear to the audience.

Plus this kinda really plays into the hand of the Indy guys that WWE have signed because some of their training techniques are very different to the average wrestlers - with Danielson training in MMA and what not, along with Low-Ki's Martial Arts background.

I'd kinda like it if it remained it's own brand mind. I wouldn't include it in the Draft, but I'd hold a mini-draft every 4 months where the RAW Representative and SD GM come in and pick 4 guys each and puts them in 1 on 1 matches to see which guys get promoted to the Roster.

I'd definitely keep Ezekiel, Yoshi, Croft, Barretta & Ryder where they are right now. Ezekiel needs to be the monster Champion for a while before RAW and SD battle over him to show NXT's importance while Yoshi, Ryder and Croft & Barretta need to be explored more, IMO. Yoshi stands a chance on RAW & Smackdown right now but NXT needs familiar faces, so keeping him where he is before being drafted after Wrestlemania is the best way forward.

Plus, they could highlight on Smackdown or RAW that certain superstars have been "released" from their brands and have been reassigned to NXT due to having no where to go on the WWE contracts hence they go back to the drawing board, which could show progression from one character to the next, instead of just appearing with a new gimmick.

Still, it's got to beat twelve more months of samey Christian vs Random Unconvincing Challenger title matches though, am I right?

Yeah, I hate good matches on free TV.

Don't worry, I'm sure they can pull at least one more Christian/Regal predict-o-fest out of the bag for you before they pull the plug.

It's a shame that the final ECW won't get a big send off. Yes, I know that essentially it's been a completley different brand since it was brought back, but for all intents and purposes this is likely to be the very last time ever that the initials ECW will be used for a wrestling tv show. At the very least I hope Heyman is brought back just to finally lay ECW to rest. Or even Joey Styles to do commentary, he's still on the dub's books isn't he.

I can't be the only one to think that Vince made the third brand 'ECW' out of spite? The original One Night Stand event was full of vitriol towards WWE. In fact ECW itself was all about what the WWF *wasn't* about. He would have made the brand WCW if WCW had the same kind of loyal die-hard fanbase.

Not really, he had plans to close one of his two development territories, and wanted a stepping stone half tv/half developmental 'C' show to replace it, and used the ECW name because everyone got on such a big buzzing nostalgia trip knob-on after One Night Stand.

Just like most things, WWECW has run its course, bring on the fresh new reality TV show, I just hope they don't stick Danielson on it.

Or those bland as fuck evil surfers, they're about as entertaining as watching a documentry about kids with cancer.

What a thoroughly irritating nickname.

I think a cross between TUF and Big Brother could work, with the audience deciding who would get eliminated.........

16 guys training and living together (much like TUF), every week 2 people get picked for elimination and the viewing public decide who gets eliminated.... the way they would then reveal who was eliminated would be by the 2 guys having the match (on RAW maybe??) with the person getting the fewest votes getting beaten and the winner remaining on the show.

They could have 3 ways to decide elimination.... tag matches to eliminate 2 guys if need be and so on.

They wouldn't have to necessarily give everyone a gimick as usually the peoples personalities are their gimmick (muck like in TUF) and you have a bunch of feuds that naturally start throughout the time of the guys sharing a house (again like TUF).

Eh.

If it gives new talent an opportunity to demonstrate a bit of personality and initiative, as opposed to being lost amongst the ever-increasing wave of production-line Defaults, I'm all for this.

Does he even bring his crown to the table anymore? I never notice it. Defeats the object of him being a King slightly. Without the crown he's just Jerry 'The Shit Commantating Perv' Lawler.

Triple H doesn't bring a joystick or a dice to the ring with him.
