Outstanding news.
Mark Haskins has dug in and committed so much over the past few years, it is great to see that nice guys can finish first for a change.
Plaudits must also be given to Mark Sloan for yet another of his protégées breaking out into a position of international recognition.

Drew Galloway credits the FWA Academy as being the foundation for his wrestling career and Mark Sloan in particular as one of the driving forces behind the type of man he is today.
Plus, Mark has influenced countless top name UK grapplers that are doing the rounds currently.

Congratulations once again to Mr. Haskins. As I said before, I don't think there's anyone batter suited or more deserving on the current UK circuit.

Two observations:-

1) It's "Kzy" rather than "KRY".

2) Don Fujii, first night in? Poor bastard. biggrin.gif

I wouldn't say Don Fujii is going to have it that hard, it'll be a tough test for him I am sure, but he is a well respected and travelled veteran.

I'm afraid said original source is incorrect or mis-translated then. There is no one in DG called "KRY". It's Kzy, formerly m.c. KZ.

http://dgusa.puroresufan.com/kzy.html

Best of luck to Mr. Haskins. As I said in the other thread, his performance at DGUK was definitely strong enough to earn this opportunity.

He did indeed attend one of the weeklong winter training camps held at Portsmouth to assist in the rounding off of his wrestling skills.
