I saw Bangkok Dangerous at the cinema when it was on, other than Cage's wig it wasn't that bad.

Went to see Gamer last night, pretty cool if you want some random, stylised violence and Gerard Butler with a gun. Made by the same guys that did the Crank movies so if you like those then you'll probably like this. Obviously its nothing too engaging or deep, but its good fun and Gerard Butler and Michael C. Hall are pretty good in it.

Finally got round to Dead Man's Shoes tonight. Absolutely amazing performance from Paddy Considine, as ever, and he's pretty much my favourite British actor right now. I still maybe slightly preferred him in My Summer Of Love but he is brilliant in this.

As a film I could hardly fault it. The story was paced superbly, the flashbacks were used really well (I'm not usually a fan of flashbacks as a plot device, but this is how you do it) and the support cast were great too. The only thing I didn't like was the drugs scene as I thought it was a bit too much of an archetypal 'trip out' scene but overall fantastic.

9 'NOB' jackets out of 10.
