  1. I hate that sneering shit. It reeks of middle class left wingers looking down on people who have largely been on the blunt end of austerity & simply dismissing their frustrations. When people look back and study why the 'red wall' fell this will be a factor for sure.
  2. 3am start at the new arena that isn't even in the city centre & is charging £9 a pint. I dread to think how much cocaine is gonna be consumed inside. I was planning on going when I thought it might be at the MEN & at a decent hour.
  3. They don't know the house number....no dog mess coming through this letterbox!!!
  4. Got this through the door. We only moved into this house 6 weeks ago, bit paranoid that people might suspect it's me....
  5. 14th Sept! Finally, I'll get my chance. Don't blow it Michael.

    woke.

Same. Nobody blinks an eye and it's just a given. I spoke to someone called 'Rim' the other day, I would've assumed it was a bloke without it (unfortunate name though). Social media is the devil and the way any issue is quickly weaponised and taken to extreme points for content & clicks is fucking exhausting. I wish I was less guilty of delving into it through hate scrolling & curiosity. I'm now aware of people and 'hot takes' I would've previously been blissfully ignorant of.
  7. Emily The Criminal (Netflix) - Good ittle Indie thriller about a young woman, struggling in LA who turns to petty crime in order to keep her head above water. Excellent lead performance by Aubrey Plaza, 'Juice' from Sons of Anarchy is great too & reminded me of a young John Turturro. Some genuine moments of tension & it's only 90mins too.
  8. I'm going to see Drain tomorrow night at Rebellion in Manchester. It was originally meant to be at Canvas but that venue unexpectedly closed down a few weeks ago. Bit gutting as going ti new venue is almost as exciting to me as the gig itself. Curfew is 9.45 though, absolutely marvellous. Early curfews are the new 'free shots'.
