This has potential to be a thread for people to add to all the time, but it may just be a short lived experience whilst I try to get answers to these bad boys:1) Can someone please tell me what, "You've Got Tweets Mate" means? I see it spray painted on walls in Reading, and it makes me smirk, but I don't have a clue what it represents.2) The "wench" has been dropping hints how she likes long phonecalls and how she likes late night calls. I have taking the hint and dropped a few 2am calls. However, now it seems like she wants 4 hour+ chatting sessions! Is this normal? Have you been there? How do you keep interest? What topics are golden?3) When you test-drive a car, do they tell you where to go, or are you able to try a route you want?

Question 1: tweets Tweet can mean:A tweeter can be in reference to a street-salesman of small 'tweeting' devices, which produce a high-frequency sound by dint of expulsion of air though the device. These street-hawkers have been known to incite unprecedented levels of rage in the general populace and, for precisely this reason, the job has fallen out of favour amongst the working classes.UK colloquialism- "You got tweets mate" or, more commonly, "You got f**king tweets mate," vernacular inclusiveAlsoTweeted the end result of smoking PCP,AngelDust "we smoked some dust and were Tweeted.""he's Tweeted" (Urban Dictionary)Question 3 - They tell you where to drive.

Thanks for the replies, although I still don't really grasp the "tweets" deal.Stupidly, I am bricking it a bit about the test-drive as to date I have always had "hand-me-down" cars through the family, and my driving style has become slightly unorthodox over the years since the I passed my test. Hopefully, they will have seen all sorts before though

It'll be fine. I had my first test drive at a garage four days after passing my test and was awful, stalling, harsh braking, you know the usual just passed driving.

3) When I test-drove my car the salesman came with me but let me drive where I wanted. I guess they judge it based on a combination of your age, perceived trustworthiness and how well you say you know the area (I only live five minutes walk from their showroom).

Is this normal?

4 hours is a bit much, but I've been there.

Have you been there?

Yes.

How do you keep interest?

Depends on the girl. In my most recent experience at least, I was reduced to the phone equivalent of smiling and nodding. I was once on the phone to my sort-of-ex (long story) for about 2 hours and all I said was "Yes", "You're right" and "I know".

What topics are golden?

Again, it depends on the girl and what you mean to each other. With my sort-of ex, her favourite subject is herself, with my other ex, we'd talk for hours and hours about everything. I actually miss those phonecalls.

Your phonebill must be fucking huge.

Whats Pwned mean?

Pwned = Owned. If you are on the recieving end of a spectacular or amusing mishap at the hands of a third party you have been 'owned'. Variations of the word are pwned, pwn3d, pwnt, pwnd which are used in chatrooms and online games. - it's essentially text speak but the meaning is the same.

'Pwned' in place of 'owned' is a variant of intentional misspellings by a certain type of computer user. It comes from when e-mail filter software would block certain words, and spammers would just get round them by misspelling them ('pr0n' for 'porn' being the most common).

It has it's own special term used to desribe when letters are replaced by numbers or symbols. It's called leet, or L33T speek, which is derived from the word 'Elite'
