  1. Glad to see that 'Too many limes!' is back for Sheamus. I'd probably turn him heel in a few weeks so he can feud with Cody and Sami. Decent show again. I am NOT looking forward to this Uncle Howdy stuff though.
  2. Cody v AJ should be fun, don't believe they've ever faced each other have they? Makes sense to keep the Bloodline going for an eventual Rock v Roman feud at least, and you can get a Roman v Solo match out of things before then too.
  3. All this drama over the last few months over that shite. It's not exactly some loon going crazy, endangering the production staff by chucking things about and trying to fight his boss like it was made to seem like, is it? It's a guy losing his temper with someone that was more than likely being a bit of a smart arse. Punk was absolutely wrong to react that way and deserved to be punished, but worse things happen, and airing it did nothing for anyone.
  4. It was a solid show, kept everything rolling. Cody/Rock and Punk/Drew are definitely ones to look forward to and I don't think they have much choice other than to do Priest/Jey if all the other faces are busy and they're waiting until Glasgow for Drew.
  5. Perhaps a bit of recency bias but at the minute that's going to go down as one of my favourite Mania's I reckon. Loved Night 2. I said in my Night 1 post that I thought it could turn out better and it was about 10 times better than I even thought it was going to be. Just a brilliant show top to bottom. The main event was near perfect. I too expected Austin to be the one to take out Rock, that would've been the cherry on top but I'm not going to complain about what we got. Jey and Jimmy, Cena and Solo, Rock and Cena, Rock and Taker, Reigns deciding to get revenge on Rollins for the Shield break up and basically costing himself the match and then the Cody celebration with every babyface under the sun at the end. Outstanding. I'm not 100% sure what Cody does next but with him moving to Smackdown, I can see a draft soon with Rollins and Gunther perhaps joining him there to keep him occupied before the Reigns rematch and Rock feud. That'd leave Priest, Drew and Punk to scrap over the other title on RAW after Rollins v Drew and that whole opening angle, which was also perfect. Don't expect Priest's title reign to last massively long, he might even lose it to Drew in Glasgow in a couple of months but we could do with a shorter title reign. Absolutely cannot wait for that Punk v Drew match, which I guess might happen at Summerslam. As for the rest, there was nothing bad on this card. LA Knight v AJ was surprisingly a bit of a banger, the Triple Threat was incredibly fun and I'd love an Orton/Owens odd couple tag team, Baylev v Io was also a great match and even the Philadelphia Street Fight didn't outstay it's welcome at all.
  6. I enjoyed it, but I do actually feel like Night 2 has a chance of being better for once this year. Loved Gunther and Sami. I'm a sucker for hoss v underdog matches like that and both of them play those roles to perfection. The brainbuster at the end was insane. The main event could've easily had about 10 minutes shaved off it but once it got going properly it was great, and I thought it was a perfect showcase for The Rock at this point in his career to be fair. Sets things up nicely for tomorrow. Rhea v Becky was also a really good opener especially when you factor in Becky apparently being under the weather, and the Ladder match was exactly what you'd want from that type of match with Truth getting a bog moment. That stretch with the Rey tag, the Uso match and the six woman tag felt a bit TV show-ish but nothing wrong with the tags per say and to be fair I didn't hate the Usos match as much as lot a of people did. It never really got going properly but it wasn't long enough for me to hate it and I enjoyed the Yeet/No Yeet and the fake out from Jimmy even if the superkicks were a bit naff. I don't feel like anyone ever bought Jimmy as a threat in the first place, so it never had that going for it.
  7. Loving all these international shows. That's one in May in France, June in Scotland and August in Germany that we don't have to stay up until the early hours for. Wonder if Smackdown will be impacted by clashing with Scotland's Euros opener at all.
  8. An outstanding listen. I certainly didn't expect him to talk about the AEW stuff in such great detail. Think what you want about the guy, this shit is better with him in it.
  9. The Rock n’ Cock Connection
  10. I went to bed after the first hour, thinking that with the Cody and Rock promo to start and the Punk segment that there wasn't going to be anything interesting enough left to stay up for. I was wrong. What an ending. Cody v Rock 100% feels like the main event and it's a bit of a shame we're not getting it now because it's a really hot feud. When are we thinking it happens? Summerslam? Saudi show? Mania 41? We could be getting a return back to 1999 with the overbooking this year in the two title matches, what with the Bloodline stuff in Cody/Roman and then the prospect of Punk and Priest getting involved in Rollins/McIntyre, but it makes two rematches a lot more exciting than they were before.
  11. "And right now I am a 30 year old man, I've got two pugs, three cats, a kid, a missus, a mortgage to pay, and more importantly a point to prove." Ospreay is going to be a star. I enjoyed the show, though Joe/Swerve doesn’t really feel like a world title feud when you've got Edge and Okada knocking about with other titles and Ospreay and Mone getting so much attention too.
