Just grabbing tickets now. That will be awesome to see at the cinema. I knew it was coming but assumed it was just in the US. This is ace.

It's not the touring model that made them profitable (but it helps) it's the physical media sales. Basically Jay & Bob reboot did gangbusters on DVD/Blu-ray so as long as the budgets are low Lionsgate etc are more than happy to front the money.

On the one hand I think this is the most disturbing thing I've ever seen on the other I desperately want it to exist.

In the old series it was shot over one month a series. I think this was over two weeks but could be wrong about that.

Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #4 came out yesterday and it's still looking like the book of the year. Wonderful stuff. Also Cobra Commander #3 came out which was better than #2. It's good fun but maybe my least favourite of the Energon Universe so far. Transformers is far and away the best of the bunch but then it is Daniel Warren Johnson who can do no wrong in my eyes.

There was chat about a Transformers thread in the Comics thread. My favourite toy line of the 80s by far, a really good cartoon, the best animated movie of the 80s and several highly dubious live action films. So here it is an all purpose Transformers thread. FUCK GOBOTS! I've been eyeing up putting a pre order in for these 3 from zavvi. Always wanted Arcee as a kid and the Quintessons. They look bad ass.
